How to Make a Glitter Bottle
Do It Yourself Sensory Bottle with High School Counselor Mrs. Schaefer!!
Sensory Bottle
Items needed:
-clear plastic bottle
-clear glue or glitter glue (about 4 ounces depending on your bottle size-needs to fill about 1/4 of the bottle) You can also use baby oil or hair gel if you do not have glue.
-warm water
-items to float in bottle (beads, sequin, glitter, water beads, elastic hair ties-be creative)
-super glue or hot glue
Put glue in bottle first to fill it 1/4 full, then add warm water. Leave about 1/2 inch of air at the top to put in your floating items. Once your items are in bottle, fill bottle with glue or water. The more glue (baby oil or hair gel) you have, the slower the items float. Put cap on and shake. You can super glue or hot glue the lid on when done.
Dinner Table Question: Would you rather be able to change colors like a chameleon or hold your breath underwater for an hour?
